Abstract

MM Music Production is a cottage industry located in Kaliwot Village, Bungah, Gresik Regency. This company produces in the field of traditional musical instruments. The main raw materials needed for the tambourine production process are wood and goat skin. This company always fulfills customer requests, the company's system in processing this main raw material is by determining the purchase of the main raw material continuously without estimating as needed, purchasing at least once every 2 weeks, resulting in the quality of wood raw materials decreasing because wood is often exposed to hot weather. or rain and easily moldy, causing a lot of storage costs. The results of the research using the chosen forecasting method is the Wighted Moving Average to test the normality of the data with the Shapiro-Wilk method. It is said to be normally distributed for the probabilistic Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) calculation to get a total inventory cost of Rp. 108,803,275 and Rp. 102,260,550.
