Abstract
During the COVID-19 pandemic, construction projects experienced a significant impact which resulted in several obstacles and challenges in dealing with new habits (new normal). Obstacles and challenges can affect the schedule of construction project progress, therefore, it is necessary to handle anticipated delays to prevent continuous delays. The what if method, is one of the methods of handling anticipated project delays, the advantage of this method is that it can be used at the beginning of the project before it runs. The analysis starts from data collection both primary and secondary data, primary data processing to look for factors that cause project delays and secondary data is used as what if analysis. In what if analysis research, it was found that increasing the number of workers was more efficient than increasing the number of working hours. In the study of the main factors of project delay, financial indicators were obtained which were the cause of significant project delays.
