Abstract
A project can be said to succeed if can be delivered on time, purchasing on right track and fulfill the fixed quality standards. However, many cases on projects often get delays and cost overruns in the same time. Controlling Projects which have experienced delay could be done with doing rescheduling to do acceleration. Precedence Diagram Methods (PDM) is one of method that used to make a network planning especially on project rescheduling. This Research would analyzed how to plan a proper project’s acceleration, in this case is for HE-CCCW (Heat Exchanger Closed Cooling Circulating Water) which is provided by PT. PAL Indonesia (persero) for PT. Indonesia Power. using PDM Program comparing between 2 (two) acceleration’s alternatives. The result from this calculation on both acceleration’s alternatives, The Shifting Method is more efficient due to its capabilities to reduce the working days from 255 days to 229 days, 26 days of reduction or 10,19%. The additional cost causing by this acceleration is Rp. 5.459.000 or 0.75% from the Project’s Basic Cost Rp. 726.047.000.
