Abstract

Procrastination is an act or behavior that repeatedly delays deliberately and does other work that is not needed. The procrastination is mostly carried out by students and influences learning outcomes so it is important to study. This study aims to determine the level of student academic procrastination in terms of self efficacy, work status and work and marriage status. The subjects in this study were 90 students taken by purposive sampling, 30 subjects were students who only underwent morning lectures (pure), 30 night class students worked and 30 night students who worked and were married. Data retrieval is done using the scale of procrastination. The Procrastination Scale consists of 32 items that have validity ≥ 0.03 with reliability of 0.962. The results showed a negative relationship between self efficacy and procrastination with a correlation score of -.675 with a significance of p = 0,000 <0.05. then for the first difference test there is no difference in the level of procrastination between students working with pure students with a significance of 0.089> 0.05. The second test did not differ in the level of procrastination between students working and marrying pure students of significance of 0.625> 0.05. The third test does not have a difference in the level of procrastination between students working and marrying students working with a significance value of 0.171> 0.05.
