Abstract

Heart rate and temperature monitoring is an activity that run continuously which can help especially medical personnel in monitoring the progress of the patient’s condition remotely. This monitoring and measurement aims to determine the condition of patients who are undergoing hospitalization. This monitoring system is build by using a Pulse sensor and DS18B20 temperature sensor, then programmed with microcontroller to calculate the number of heart beats per second along with temperature. The Data is processed with Arduino Uno, then the data is send in Real Time to the server using the ESP8266 wifi module as a medium for sending data from the sensor and will be displayed via Android mobile devices and also through the Web in the form of heart rate and temperature with normal and abnormal conditions. After the data is sent to server and displayed, the data will be automatically stored in the database.
