Abstract

Geographically, the city of Surabaya is located on the edge of the Madura strait so that it is characterized as a coastal city. Coastal Kenjeran Beach in the Northeast of Surabaya City, in this area there are a number of natural and artificial tourism objects that are quite interesting. In addition, in this area there is also a coastal fishing village characterized by slum settlements, one of which is in Sukolilo Village, Bulak District, Surabaya City. The surrounding fishing communities, apart from having a livelihood to catch fish, also carry out activities related to marine catches such as home-based seafood processing, including eggplant crackers, sea cucumber crackers, shrimp potato chips and others. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of capital, labor and raw materials on the income of fish crackers home industry business actors in Sukolilo Village, Bulak District, Surabaya City. The types and sources of this research use quantitative methods using primary data in the form of data processing by filling out questionnaires that are given directly to fish cracker home industry business actors in Sukolilo Village, Bulak District, Surabaya City. The results of this study indicate that the variables of capital, labor and raw materials simultaneously on the dependent variable income with a significant value of 0.000 Ftable (163,047 > 3.34), then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted at the level of significantly, which means that capital, labor, raw materials affect the income of fish cracker home industry business actors in Sukolilo Village, Bulak District, Surabaya City.
