Abstract

Money Laundering Crime or known as Money Laundering is a follow up crime of origin. Money laundering is the pursuit of property resulting from crimes where the type of crime mentioned in Article 2 Paragraph (1) of Law No. 8 of 2010. In Article 2 Paragraph (1) letter w of the TPPU Law that the original crime was a forestry crime. The forestry PPNS Authority conducts an investigation of Forestry Crimes as stipulated in Law No. 41 of 1999 on Forestry and Law No. 18 of 2013. PPNS Forestry is an investigator who can conduct investigations in independent illegal logging. As an investigator of original crimes in accordance with Article 74 of the TPPU Law, forestry PPNS is not included in the investigation. From the explanation above arises legal issues, namely the Authority PPNS Forestry In The Investigation of TPPU Related Illegal Logging and The Concept of Regulation of Authority Investigator PPNS Forestry In Investigation TPPU. In this thesis using normative research methods in accordance with positive laws, using the legal approach and concept approach. That forestry PPNS investigators as investigators of original crimes mentioned in Article 2 letter w Law No. 8 of 2010 on prevention and eradication of money laundering crimes should be able to conduct investigations in addition to conducting investigations in the field of forestry although in the explanation of Article 74 of the Law TPPU does not include the investigators called, The concept of regulation of authority of forestry PPNS investigators in TPPU must be expressly stipulated in the TPPU Law this is as the implementation of Article 74 Jo Article 2 letter w of the TPPU Law.
