Abstract

Tugboat or Tugboat KT Anggada IX is a ship owned by Pelindo 4 which is used to help pull or push ships that will dock or leave at the port, especially in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. Tugboats also play an important role in the smoothness of sea transportation, inter-island ferries are also usually assisted in docking at the port by tugboats. Therefore, in order to maintain the stability and smoothness of the work activities carried out by the Tugboat, it is necessary to periodically plan for the repair and maintenance of the Tugboat itself. This maintenance includes maintenance of the engine, electricity, gearbox, etc. There is a time when the tugboat does a total maintenance that includes all the parts on the tug, which is commonly called Repowering. Repowering Tugboats includes many things such as replacement of SPM (Ship Propulsion Machine), AM (Auxiliary Motor), rejuvenation of electrical installation cables, piping, replacement of ship plates, and ship repainting. In Repowering, it is necessary to rejuvenate the electrical installation, both AC and DC electricity and the protection system that will be used so that the ship can run properly and efficiently in the use of its materials. From the calculations that are in accordance with the planning data analysis, an electrical diagram is then made. The drawing of the electrical installation diagram is the result of this planning which will then be a reference for working on the electrical installation on the Tugboat in accordance with the planning data analysis. From the electrical installation diagram, it will also be used to calculate the capacity of the electrical energy source to be used and the load used.
