Abstract
This study aims to prove and analyze the effect of organizational culture, transformational leadership, and compensation on work stress, quality of work life, and employee performance at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Regional Office of East Java I. This type of research is to prove the causal relationship between the independent variable, the intervening variable and the dependent variable. Population in this study 1323 staff employee. Using Slovin formula, the sample size of 300 respondents. While the data collection technique is through questionnaires. Data were processed and analyzed using AMOS version 24. Model testing with Generalized Least Square Estimation (GLS), structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis. The test results show that the model (fit) can be seen from the values of GFI, AGFI, TLI, CFI, RMSEA and CMIN / DF, respectively 0.917, 0.905, 0.953, 0.958, 0.061 and 1.165 all in accordance with the expected values. range so that the model is acceptable. The results showed that: 1). Organizational culture has a significant effect on work stress, quality of work life, and employee performance. 2). Transformational leadership has a significant effect on work stress, quality of work life, and employee performance. 3). Compensation has a significant effect on work stress, quality of work life, and employee performance. 4). Job stress has no significant effect on the quality of work life, and has a significant effect on employee performance. 5). The quality of work life has a significant effect on the performance of the employees of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, East Java I
