Abstract

Structural performance is the level of performance of a structure against the design earthquake. The performance level of the structure can be determined by looking at the level of damage to the structure when it is hit by a planned earthquake with a certain return period. In structural design, the performance of the structure is usually designed in accordance with the purpose and use when an earthquake occurs without compromising the safety of the use of the building. In the design stage of the building structure, it refers to the regulations of SNI 2847- 2019, SNI 1726-2019, and SNI 1727-2019. The analysis was carried out on 3 (three) variations of the model which were distinguished based on the irregularity of the structure with the shape of the "T", "L" and square plans. Furthermore, an analysis was carried out using the SAP2000 program to obtain structural behavior and a nonlinear analysis was carried out using the Pushover analysis method. By applying the commonly used regulations, namely ATC-40, FEMA 356, and FEMA 440. The results of this study indicate that the modeling of a rectangular regular structure with a size of 30m×30m is more efficient than other models, which have a smaller structure period, displacement and P-delta effect than other models. As well as the level of performance of the regular, irregular "L" and irregular "T" modeling structures, which are included in the IO (Immediate Occupancy) category.
