Abstract

Ultraviolet light in the ultraviolet lamps used the bank to detect the authenticity of Rupiah-based paper recommended always lit during hours of operation work approximately 8 hours to support the performance of the teller. Exposure to ultraviolet light in the long time lapse can cause a range of negative impacts to human health, such as, skin cancer, cataracts, decreased immune system to infectious diseases, and other eye diseases. This research takes the topic of designing automatic switch to operate the light load of lighting a room. This automatic switch using input type of presence sensors in the form of passive infrared (PIR). The human body produces heat energy radiated by infrared. Heat radiation the human body will be accepted for the response sensor input circuit. The complete set consists of a passive infrared sensor, fresnel lens, the main circuits, power supply and load lamp illumination. At its core the PEAR will be a driver transistor. The transistor serves as the electronic switch will disconnect the load and connect the lamp illumination. So the author of the design of the automatic system of ultraviolet lamps which can be turned on and off by itself using the medium of human hands. Its application if the hands are under the ultraviolet light ultraviolet light will then light up and if the hands are not under ultraviolet light then automatically the ultraviolet light will extinguish. It aims to reduce the intensity of exposure to ultraviolet rays on the bank teller.
