Runways are one of the most important components in a system at the airport because the runway is where the aircraft operates for take off or landing. The efficiency of runway performance at airports is seen from a variety of operating factors such as the technology used and others. This study aims to determine the level of service capacity in the runway and to know the characteristics of the type of aircraft served by Suai Airport. The method used to calculate runway capacity uses the FAA (American Federal Aviation Administration) method based on aircraft movement data and aircraft characteristics. From the results of calculations using the FAA method, the results that are very influential are Hourly Capacity Base based on the Mix Index data. The results of the next 20 years analilis, namely in 2023, can be obtained from aircraft movements during peak hours of 10 movements per hour and 120 aircraft movements per year, and have the results of Critical Landing Space 1.03 minutes per aircraft doing movement on the runway, This proves that the airport capacity of Suai has a very saturated capacity
