Abstract

In the implementation of physical development activities, OSH problems are generally neglected in Indonesia, especially in the implementation of the construction of the public works sector with simple building construction, this is indicated by the high number of work accidents in construction, workers in the construction service sector cover around 7-8 % of the total workforce in all sectors, and contributes 6.45% of GDP in Indonesia. The construction service sector is one of the sectors most at risk of work accidents, therefore the authors conducted an analysis of the effect of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) on Workers in the Construction Project for Renovation of the 3rd Middle School Building in Sumenep. In this study, quantitative methods were used, and data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis and SWOT analysis. This analysis is intended to be able to find out how much influence of awareness and supervision on compliance with K3 implementation on Workers in the Construction Project for the Renovation of the 3 Sumenep Middle School Building. and to find out what factors are most dominant in determining OHS compliance so that management can prioritize policies that will be taken in improving worker OHS compliance, as well as assist management in analyzing what strategies are more effective to implement. Meanwhile, the SWOT analysis is carried out to determine what factors are the strengths, weaknesses,opportunities and threats in the implementation of K3. Thus, company management can implement strategies that are relevant and effective so that the compliance of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) towards Workers in the Construction Project for Renovation of the Sumenep 3 Middle School Building can increase, which in turn reduces the rate of work accidents and improves performance.
