Abstract

Construction service providers have not fully understood the importance of implementing OHS in the implementation of work so that the implementation of OHS is not fully carried out by contractor. The low understanding of OHS has resulted in many incidents of work accidents during construction work. The implementation of the OHS management system in building construction has not been maximized because there are still work accidents that occur both large and small scale accidents. This study aims to determine the factors of the implementation of the occupational safety and health management system that affect the performance of the Bangkalan District Council building construction project. In this study , analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The factors of the implementation of the OHS program that affect the performance of a construction project are worker involvement, management commitment to OHS, OHS Rules and Procedures, working conditions and environment, worker competence, and worker communication. Rankings based on the level of influence are as follows: (1) Employee Competence, (2) OHS Rules and Procedures, (3) Working Conditions and Environment, (4) Employee Engagement, (5) Worker Communication, and (6) Management Commitment to OHS.
