Abstract

The road has an important role as part of a national transportation system that needs to be done year-round maintenance to extend the life of the plan and maintain the condition of the road with a steady service conditions. As an access road freigt traffic will suffer local damage on the road section, is related to the frequency and content of vehicles that exceed the limits of the road. Pavement design flaws cause premature damage to the effective handling of periodic maintenance segment of the road, this causes the performance of roads to be decreased and the life of the plan so it is not reached. To confront and overcome such problems will require research and planning by analyzing the comparative performance of routine road maintenance (self-management) with periodic maintenance of roads, including the costs and time required. Road segment RTA. Milono Palangkaraya an access road connecting the district capital within and between provinces increased freight traffic volume is very large. To plan and analyze the performance, cost and time required required planning data obtained from the relevant agencies and see first hand the last field conditions. The data obtained by the price of its own estimates, the plans, the basic price, the contract agreement letter and schedule time. Planning performance, cost and time is to make a budget plan routine maintenance of roads (self-management) and do a comparative analysis with data plans on a regular road maintenance (contractual). From the analysis of routine maintenance of roads maintained Aggregate Base A 210 m2, HRS-Base 210 m2 and 178.50 liters binder absorbing layer. Cost is planned together with the periodic maintenance of Rp. 731,726,858.00 with a construction period at the beginning of the fiscal year because there was no tender process. Routine maintenance of the road there is the addition of three new work item to repair the foundation layer so that the performance of road would be better to make the road with a steady service conditions.
