Abstract
It is widely acknowledged that the sense of sight is a vital source of information for humans; indeed, it is no exaggeration to say that the majority of information humans acquire comes from vision, with the remainder derived from the other senses. Consequently, any impairment to one's vision inevitably limits their ability to engage in daily activities. This realization motivated me to develop a device that serves as a navigation aid for the visually impaired, enhancing their comfort and safety—particularly when walking or moving about within the home. Additionally, the device facilitates assistance in the event of an emergency while outdoors; by pressing an emergency button, the user triggers the device to send a Telegram message containing their GPS coordinates to their family. The objective of this research is to create a device that assists the visually impaired by detecting obstacles and transmitting emergency messages to family members, thereby minimizing the risk of accidents when they are navigating independently.
