Abstract

Religion is an important foundation in everyday life and understanding the science of religion needs to be introduced from an early age, including in studying prayers, short letters and daily prayers. Religious education from an early age is very important to form good morals and personality. The state has also established religious education for early childhood as an important part of national education. However, educational media about prayer, short letters and daily prayers are still lacking. Providing education still uses the lecture method which is less effective, especially for children. Making interactive prayer mats is one way to convey information and to help children learn to pray, short letters and daily prayers more easily and understandably. Interactive prayer mats are a form of interactive media by utilizing prayer rugs. The form of interaction is in the form of touch which is detected as a controlling device by utilizing a touch sensor. With this interactive media, it is hoped that it can help children understand more easily and attract children to learn about prayers, short letters and daily prayers.
