Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between proactive personality and perceived organizational support on employee job crafting, both partially and simultaneously. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey of 60 respondents. Data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of the mean analysis showed that proactive personality had a theoretical mean of 40 and an empirical mean of 40.68, while Perceived Organizational Support had a theoretical mean of 40 and an empirical mean of 40.73. Job crafting was in the low category with an empirical mean of 31.05. A partial (t) test showed that proactive personality had a significant effect on job crafting (p = 0.010 < 0.01), as did Perceived Organizational Support (p = 0.033 < 0.05). A simultaneous analysis (F-test) indicated that both independent variables jointly had a significant effect on job crafting (F = 7.901; p = 0.001 < 0.01), with a coefficient of determination R² of 0.217. This finding indicates that 21.7% of the variation in job crafting can be explained by proactive personality and perceived organizational support, while the remainder is influenced by other factors. Thus, employees' job crafting levels tend to increase with higher levels of proactive personality and perceived organizational support.
