Abstract

Fluktuasi harga pangan pada beberapa tahun terakhir menunjukkan tren peningkatan yang berdampak signifikan terhadap stabilitas ekonomi daerah, khususnya pada pembentukan inflasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kenaikan harga pangan terhadap tingkat inflasi di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linear berganda, penelitian ini memanfaatkan data sekunder berupa perkembangan harga komoditas pangan utama dan data inflasi bulanan dari lembaga statistik terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kenaikan harga pangan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat inflasi, baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Komoditas seperti beras, cabai, dan daging ayam terbukti menjadi penyumbang utama perubahan inflasi daerah. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa stabilitas harga pangan memiliki peran krusial dalam menjaga kestabilan inflasi di Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pertimbangan bagi pemerintah daerah dalam merumuskan kebijakan pengendalian harga dan penguatan ketahanan pangan.
