Abstract

Perkembangan media sosial, khususnya TikTok, berperan penting dalam membentuk perilaku konsumsi Generasi Z, termasuk fenomena fast fashion yang berkaitan dengan Fear of Missing Out (FoMO). FoMO merupakan kondisi psikologis berupa kecemasan akibat merasa tertinggal informasi, pengalaman, atau tren. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan konsep diri dan peer pressure terhadap FoMO pada konsumen fast fashion Generasi Z pengguna TikTok di Surabaya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan 152 responden yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling, dimana memiliki beberapa kriteria yaitu berusia 13-28 tahun; berdomisili di Surabaya; aktif comment, share, like, dan membuat konten baru di aplikasi TikTok; pernah berbelanja pakaian di aplikasi TikTok minimal sebanyak tiga kali dalam sebulan. Kajian ini dianalisis menggunakan regresi berganda melalui SPSS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri dan peer pressure secara simultan berhubungan signifikan dengan FoMO (F = 109,270; p < 0,05). Secara parsial, konsep diri berhubungan negatif signifikan dengan FoMO (t = −3,911; p < 0,05), sedangkan peer pressure berhubungan positif signifikan dengan FoMO (t = 6,761; p < 0,05). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa konsep diri dan peer pressure merupakan faktor penting dalam upaya pencegahan FoMO pada Generasi Z konsumen fast fashion pengguna TikTok.
