Abstract

Masa dewasa awal ditandai oleh kebutuhan akan kelekatan emosional dan relasi intim yang stabil, namun tidak sedikit individu menunjukkan pola relasi tidak seimbang berupa codependency emotional. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan tingkat codependency emotional ditinjau dari attachment style pada dewasa awal di Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain komparatif. Subjek penelitian adalah perempuan dewasa awal yang sedang menjalin hubungan romantis, dipilih melalui accidental sampling. Instrumen berupa skala attachment style dan skala codependency emotional berdasarkan konsep Spann dan Fischer (199]). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Kruskal Wallis karena data tidak berdistribusi normal dan tidak homogen. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Kruskal Wallis. Hasil menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan tingkat codependency emotional berdasarkan attachment style. Uji post hoc mengungkap bahwa individu dengan secure attachment memiliki rata-rata codependency emotional ertinggi dibandingkan kelompok insecure ambivalent dan avoidant. Temuan ini memperkaya kajian teoretis serta menjadi dasar pengembangan intervensi relasi yang lebih adaptif
