Abstract

PT. Pionir Mandiri Jaya is a manufacturing company engaged in plastic rotational molding. Products produced by PT. Pionir Mandiri Jaya are Plastic Water Tanks. Product defects that occur become a problem for companies that obtain company profits to be delayed, companies that are responsible for having incurred production costs, and consumer confidence is reduced due to incorrect delivery time. Quality improvement is done by comparing the P map control for the type of product defect attribute and then calculating the cause of product defects with a pareto diagram, the biggest cause of disability will be analyzed using a fishbone diagram so that the Repair is done on defects in the plastic water tank molding process. The results of the repaired improvements proved to be able to improve and reduce the level of product defects. Corrective action on Product Type 550, 1000 liters and 5000 liters changes in product capacity and number of defects. Production Strategy that needs to be carried out by PT. Pionir Mandiri Jaya are conducting continuous and strict supervision of the water tank molding process and regulating standart operational company at each stage of the process. Production strategy can be run well, then the number of product defects can be calculated and PT. Pionir Mandiri Jaya will increase profits on 550 litter type products from Rp. 27,360,000 in the previous condition to Rp. 29,184,000, for a 1000 litter type product from Rp 42,840,000 in the previous condition to Rp. Rp. 45,780,000, and for 5000 litter type products from Rp. 76,500,000 in the previous condition to Rp. 85,000,000.
