Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengendalian persediaan pada dua produk semen utama, yaitu Semen Gresik dan Semen Merdeka, di PT XY Cabang Sidoarjo dengan tujuan mengurangi risiko kekurangan stok dan kerugian finansial akibat lost sales serta penalti pengiriman. Data operasional periode Juni hingga Agustus 2025 digunakan untuk menganalisis pola permintaan, tingkat ketidakstabilan pasokan, serta kebutuhan penentuan safety stock dan reorder point. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terjadinya kekurangan stok pada beberapa hari operasional yang berkontribusi pada kerugian signifikan, yaitu sekitar Rp509.600.000 untuk Semen Gresik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan pengendalian persediaan yang lebih tepat, khususnya melalui metode Continuous Review yang mempertimbangkan variabilitas permintaan harian dan lead time. Usulan perbaikan mencakup penetapan safety stock yang lebih adaptif serta penyesuaian titik pemesanan ulang untuk menurunkan frekuensi stockout dan meningkatkan keandalan distribusi.
