Abstract

Pertumbuhan penduduk yang pesat di Surabaya disertai dengan berbagai tantangan lingkungan, salah satunya adalah banjir yang kerap terjadi di Jalan Panjang Jiwo. Selain dipicu oleh intensitas curah hujan yang tinggi, kondisi alam Kota Surabaya itu sendiri yang memiliki kelerangan relatif datar dan terletak di hilir DAS Brantas turut memperparah masalah banjir. Perubahan fungsi lahan menjadi kawasan terbangun juga menyebabkan berkurangnya daerah resapan air, sehingga limpasan permukaan meningkat secara signifikan. Di samping itu, kinerja saluran drainase yang kurang optimal membuat sistem tidak mampu menyalurkan debit air hujan pada saat terjadi hujan dengan intensitas tinggi. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk mengkaji potensi penerapan konsep eco drainage melalui metode sumur injeksi sebagai alternatif pengendalian banjir di kawasan Jalan Panjang Jiwo. Analisis dilakukan melalui pendekatan hidrologi, hidrolika, serta pemodelan menggunakan EPA SWMM 5.2. Melalui proses perhitungan dan evaluasi rancangan secara Trial and Error, diperoleh desain sumur injeksi optimal dengan diameter 3.25 meter dan kedalaman 25 meter. Berdasarkan estimasi debit banjir pada kondisi saluran eksisting, dibutuhkan total enam sumur injeksi untuk menampung limpasan yang terjadi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rekomendasi teknis bagi pengembangan sistem drainase berkelanjutan di kawasan perkotaan, khususnya pada wilayah datar dengan tingkat limpasan tinggi seperti Surabaya.
