Abstract

Pembangunan infrastruktur jalan membutuhkan material yang mampu meningkatkan kinerja perkerasan sekaligus mendukung konsep pembangunan ramah lingkungan. Aspal porus dipilih karena memiliki porositas tinggi sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas drainase jalan, namun memerlukan filler yang tepat untuk menjaga stabilitasnya. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, penelitian ini difokuskan untuk menjawab tiga rumusan masalah utama, yaitu menentukan kadar aspal optimum (KAO), menganalisis karakteristik Marshall dengan pemanfaatan serbuk arang buah siwalan sebagai filler, serta mengetahui nilai permeabilitas campuran. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pengujian Cantabro Loss (CL) untuk menilai ketahanan aus, Asphalt Flow Down (AFD) untuk menentukan kestabilan aspal terhadap pemisahan, dan uji Marshall untuk mendapatkan parameter VMA, VIM, VFB, stabilitas, flow, dan Marshall Quotient (MQ). Pengujian permeabilitas dilakukan pada kondisi kadar aspal optimum. Variasi filler yang digunakan yaitu abu ebagai pembanding. Seluruh prosedur mengacu pada spesifikasi AAPA (2004) dan Bina Marga (2018). Hasil penelitian ditentukan KAO sebesar 4,72%. Variasi filler 0,25%–0,75% menghasilkan stabilitas yang cukup baik namun flow cenderung rendah. Variasi 0,50%–0,50% memberikan peningkatan VMA dan MQ tertinggi, menandakan kekakuan campuran yang lebih baik. Variasi 0,75%–0,25% menghasilkan flow yang lebih stabil dan permeabilitas tertinggi, sehingga mendukung fungsi poros campuran. Adapun kapur 1% menunjukkan stabilitas terbesar dan nilai CL terbaik, sehingga menjadi variasi paling stabil secara struktural. Secara umum, penggunaan filler abu siwalan terbukti mampu mempertahankan karakteristik Marshall dan permeabilitas campuran, terutama pada variasi 0,75%–0,25%, yang menunjukkan keseimbangan terbaik antara kekuatan campuran dan kemampuan drainase.
