Abstract

The internship program at the University of 17 August 1945 Surabaya is part of the compulsory education that aims to develop students' practical skills in the world of work. The General Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Sidoarjo Regency, as an institution that accepts intern students, experiences obstacles in managing the internship program because it still uses a manual system, especially in the registration process, activity management, and student performance assessment. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system that integrates all aspects of internship management at Bawaslu Sidoarjo. This system is equipped with the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method to produce objective intern student performance assessments through a multi-criteria approach. The use of a web platform was chosen to increase accessibility and efficiency in data management. The results of this study are expected to simplify the internship administration process and improve the quality of intern student performance evaluations within the Bawaslu Sidoarjo Regency.
