Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan pada salah satu perusahaan yang memproduksi kabel otomotif yang berada di Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa dan memprediksi kerusakan pada suction blower motor, yang dimana penggunaan suction blower motor itu sendiri pada proses produksi di perusahaan tersebut untuk mendistribusikan material biji polyvinyl chloride atau yang biasa dikenal sebagai PVC. Material biji PVC tersebut didistribusikan dari bak material menuju ke hopper masing-masing mesin. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan maka penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memprediksi kerusakan pada motor tersebut karena betapa vitalnya perawatan motor tersebut. Untuk melakukan prediksi kerusakan pada suction blower motor maka dipilihlah metode fuzzy logic . Jenis kerusakan yang dipilih meliputi, Bearing rusak, suction tersumbat, dan tegangan drop. Sebelum implementasi fuzzy logic diperlukan pengambilan data yang sesuai dengan kondisi-kondisi yang nantinya diklasifikasikan, sehingga dapat membentuk aturan-aturan yang diperlukan.
