Abstract

Permasalahan Sampah menjadi salah satu permasalahan lingkungan yang tidak ada habisnya. Terlebih di era sekarang ini, dimana isu kebersihan dan Kesehatan menjadi perhatian penting pada kehidupan masyarakat..Kebersihan lingkungan merupakan kegiatan menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih, nyaman, hijau dan sehat. Menciptakan kebersihan merupakan tanggung jawab seluruh masyarakat. Untuk itu dibutuhkan solusi dari salah satu permasalahan sampah. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan penelitian dan pembuatan alat sebagai salah satu langkah konkret dalam mempermudah masyarakat saat melakukan pembuangan sampah tanpa menyentuhnya secara langsung. Output dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah masyarakat dengan terciptanya tempat sampah otomatis. Proses pembuatan dan kinerja dari tempat sampah otomatis dengan pengendalian otomatis sensor jarak ultrasonik, dilengkapi juga pengontrol untuk mengatur motor servo yang berfungsi untuk membuka dan menutup tempat sampah. Tempat sampah otomatis ini dirancang dapat bekerja membuka dan menutup secara otomatis dengan jarak respon kurang dari 20cm, maka tempat sampah akan terbuka otomatis, dan dalam durasi 5 detik tempat sampah otomatis akan tertutup kembali. Dengan melibatkan aplikasi telegram, tempat sampah otomatis dapat mengirimkan dikendalikan melalui aplikasi telegram dan dalam aplikasi telegram tersebut dilengkapi notifikasi yang menyatakan tempat sampah tersebut telah terbuka dan telah tertutup secara otomatis. Dengan tempat sampah otomatis yang bekerja membuka dan menutup secara otomatis dengan memanfaatkan sensor ultrasonik dan terhubung dengan aplikasi telegram, diharap dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat sehingga kegiatan membuang sampah pada tempatnya menjadi lebih mudah dan menarik.
