Abstract

Olahraga merupakan bagian dari aktivitas sehari-hari manusia yang berguna untuk membentuk jasmani dan rohani yang sehat. Pencapaian prestasi dalam olahraga hanya dapat dicapai dengan proses pembinaan yang tersistematik secara keseluruhan serta berkesinambungan. Kemajuan prestasi olahraga merupakan tanggung jawab seluruh masyarakat yang mampu membina serta menyaring atlet dari level bawah. Lamongan merupakan kabupaten yang mempunyai program unggulan pembinaan atlet sejak dini dengan peningkatan sarana dan prasarana olahraga. Banyak macam cabor yang sedang berkembang dan tren di Lamongan. Olahraga futsal, basket dan voli terlihat cukup tren dengan banyak peminat, melihat dari event yang diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah daerah. Semakin banyaknya atlet dan jumlah klub olahraga dalam berbagai cabor yang mengharuskan pemerintah membuat fasilitas olahraga berstandar, agar dapat menunjang para atlet muda untuk mengembangkan atau meningkatkan kualitasnya ke rana nasional maupun internasional. Dalam menghadapi hal tersebut, pemerintah ingin meningkatkan pembangunan sarana dan prasarana olahraga di kabupaten Lamongan, dimana nantinya dapat melakukan aktivitas – aktivitas di bidang olahraga seperti berlatih dan bertanding untuk meningkatkan prestasi, mutu dan kualitas, serta meningkatkan kebugaran fisik sekaligus berkreasi. Lamongan mempunyai beberapa fasilitas olahraga salah satunya Sport Center Lamongan, merupakan GOR tipe b yang didalamnya berisi fasilitas olahraga futsal, basket, voli, dan badminton, yang kapasitas dan fasilitasnya belum memenuhi standar gedung tipe b. Dengan meredesain fasilitas olahraga ini diharapkan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat maupun atlet di Kabupaten Lamongan dengan fasilitas – fasilitas penunjang lainnya, selain itu juga dapat meningkatkan kebugaran fisik sekaligus rekreasi. Hasil desain dengan standar GOR tipe b pada kondisi eksisting yang cukup jauh dari standar seperti area parkir, lapangan, ruang privat yang menjadi satu dengan area semi publik, lebar opening, dan tampak bangunan.
