Abstract

Within the scope of the service process in the workshop, the implementation of the spare parts inventory system plays a crucial role in the service process. This research aims to optimize the management of spare parts inventory using the Always Better Control method. The Always Better Control method is useful for categorizing items into three categories: A (1-75), B (70-95), and C (95-100). In addition to the Always Better Control method, this research also employs the Safety Stock method, which acts as a buffer stock to anticipate demand uncertainties, and the Reorder Point method, which helps determine the reorder quantity of an item. In the testing phase, the Black Box Testing method is used to measure the system's functionality to ensure it operates correctly. Moreover, to gauge user satisfaction with the system interface, the System Usability Scale (SUS) method is used in the form of questionnaires distributed to system users.
