Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the possibility of fraud detection, tax fairness, tax rates, and personal tendencies on tax evasion among individual taxpayers at the KPP Pratama Surabaya Gubeng. This quantitative research utilizes multiple regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS Software version 26, using primary data collected through questionnaires from 100 respondents. The results show that the possibility of fraud detection and tax fairness do not have a significant impact on tax evasion. In contrast, tax rates and personal tendencies significantly affect tax evasion. Simultaneously, all four variables have a significant impact on tax evasion. This study contributes to understanding the factors influencing tax evasion and can serve as a basis for more effective tax policies.
