Abstract

Dilakukannya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan bentuk pesan dekonstruksi stigma PSK yang ada di dalam novel Perempuan di Titik Nol karya Nawal El Saadawi, yang berdasarkan pada lima asumsi dasar feminist standpoint theory yang dikemukakan oleh Nancy Hartsock (West & Turner, 2010). Lima asumsi dasar itu terdiri dari posisi kelas, kelompok dominan dan bawah, pandangan kelompok dominan, pandangan kelompok bawah, dan kesimpulan. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif eksploratif dengan cara menggabungkan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Data ini diperoleh dari proses pengumpulan data berupa observasi dokumen dan observasi non partisipan, yang kemudian di analisis menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis model Sara Mills dengan menentukan posisi subjek-objek dan pembaca-penulis. Temuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan pesan dekonstruksi stigma PSK dengan cara menentukan posisi subjek dan objek, serta posisi pembaca dalam novel Perempuan di Titik Nol . Dalam novel ini, Firdaus sebagai tokoh utama berposisi sebagai subjek atau pencerita. Sebagai seseorang yang berposisi sebagai subjek, Firdaus memiliki kesempatan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menceritakan sudut pandang, pengalaman, dan tindakannya sebagai seorang perempuan yang bekerja sebagai PSK. Sudut pandang, pengalaman, dan tindakan Firdaus merupakan representasi dari perlawanan Firdaus terhadap sistem dominasi kekuasaan Laki-laki. Melalui representasi ini Firdaus mendekonstruksi stigma pada PSK yang ditampilkan melalui kutipan kalimat dan dialog yang disampaikan oleh Firdaus yang berposisi sebagai subjek atau pencerita. Objek pada novel ini adalah laki-laki secara umum, posisi objek akan berubah sesuai latar masalah yang diceritakan oleh Firdaus. Sedangkan posisi pembaca adalah untuk memahami dan merasakan perjuangan Firdaus dalam mendekonstruksi stigma PSK melalui perlawanannya terhadap dominasi kekuasaan laki-laki yang ditampilkan melalui kalimat dan pendeskripsian di dalam novel ini
