Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between internal locus of control, time management, and academic procrastination among students actively involved in organizations. Academic procrastination often becomes a problem for students, especially for those involved in organizational activities, where they must balance academic tasks and organizational responsibilities. Through a quantitative approach, data was collected from students involved in organizations at the Private University in Surabaya. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between internal locus of control and time management with the level of academic procrastination. Students with a high internal locus of control tend to have better time management, thereby reducing the tendency to procrastinate academically. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to examine the relationship between the variables. The research results indicate that internal locus of control and time management have a significant negative relationship with academic procrastination among students active in organizations (R = 0.043, p < 0.05). These findings are expected to provide insights for the development of intervention programs aimed at improving time management and reducing academic procrastination among students.
