Abstract
Gen Z is a generation that grew up in an era of rapid digital technological advancement, which makes Gen Z have unique characteristics, especially in personality and work motivation. Having the ability to hone and develop psychosocial resources that help adapt to change, and enable adjustments to oneself and situations in the work environment in order to achieve career satisfaction and success is called career adaptability. Career adaptability itself can be influenced by a person's grit and social support. This study uses a quantitative approach. The subjects used in this study were Gen Z with an age range of 19-27 years in the city of Surabaya and involved 135 respondents using the quota sampling technique as the sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study used a Likert scale, namely the career adaptability scale according to the theory of Savickas & Porfeli (2012), the grit scale according to the theory of Duckworth & Quinn (2009), and the social support scale according to the theory of Sarafino & Smith (2011). The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression with a correlation coefficient value of 86.013 and a significance of p = 0.000 (p <0.01) which means there is a significant positive relationship between grit and social support with career adaptability. This means that the higher the grit and social support, the higher the career adaptability.
