Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of information technology and investment knowledge on investment interest in the capital market among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. The data source for this research is primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to 86 respondents from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression methods, T-tests, and F-tests to identify relationships and influences among variables in the study. The classical assumption tests employed include normality tests, heteroscedasticity tests, and multicollinearity tests.The results of the classical assumption tests indicate that the data are normally distributed, show no signs of heteroscedasticity, and are free from multicollinearity. The findings of this research reveal that, both partially and simultaneously, information technology and investment knowledge have a positive and significant influence on the investment interest of students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya
