Abstract

Adolescence is a crucial transitional phase in which individuals begin to demand independence anda face developmental challenges. One of the main challenges is building healty romantic relationships, which are the often influenced by idealistic views and can lead to emotional dependency. The phenomenon known as the cinderella complex occurs when women feel powerless and dependent on men, a situation that can be triggered by the absence of a father figure and feelings of loneliness. This study employs a quantitative approach. The subjects of this research are adolescent aged 16 to 21 years, involving 151 respondents selected through quota sampling. The data collection methoda in this study utilize likert scale instruments cinderella complex scale based on dowling’s theory (1980), fatherless scale according to lamb’s theory (2010), and loneliness scale based on russel theory (1996). The analysis technique used in this research is multiple liear regression, yielding an f value of 79,013 and a significance level of p = 0,000 (p < 0,01), indicating a significant positive relationship between fatherless and lonliness with the cinderella complex, contributing 51,6% (R Square = 0,516). Further analysis of the relationship between fatherles and cinderella complex show a t value of 0,189 and a significance level of p = 0,005 (p < 0,01). The analysis of loneliness and cinderella complex revealed a t value of 0,797 and a significance level of p = 0,000 (p < 0,01). Therefore, colletively the three variables have a greater impact than when considered separately.
