Abstract

Companies in the Pulp and paper sector are industrial companies engaged in paper production, while 9 Pulp and paper companies are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The Indonesian Pulp and Paper Industry is estimated to still be able to rise. Indonesian Pulp and Paper Association (APKI) Assessing global and domestic demand continues to increase by up to 5%. From the records of the ministry of industry, until now Indonesia has been ranked 9th for the world's largest paper producer. Because the need for paper is currently increasing. This will be an attraction for investors to invest their capital such as buying shares or in other forms of investment. From the current phenomenon the writer wants to assess the company's financial performance in the Pulp and Paper sector by using the EVA Method. The purpose of this study is to find out how the Financial Performance of Companies in the Pulp and Paper sector through the EVA (EconomicValue Added) Method. By searching for the EVA value, the research is looking for results of NOPAT, WACC, IC, CC in advance and with indicators that have been measured if the EVA value> 0 shows that the company has succeeded in creating added value while EVA <0 shows that the company has not been able to create added value . The results showed that experiencing fluctuating values up and down every year. There are 2 companies in one year getting negative results.
