Abstract
UD.XYZ is a company engaged in the printing of gallon caps with three colors, namely: Dark Blue, Light Blue, and White. The problem that occurs at UD.XYZ currently is the management of raw material inventory that is not structured and not optimal. causing space inefficiency, high storage costs and decreased product quality. the purpose of this study is to identify the root causes of product defects and determine the amount of raw material stock inventory at UD.XYZ. The method used is Fishbone which analyzes the root causes of product defects and forecasting and calculating the Continuous review system at UD.XYZ. The results of the study show savings in raw material inventory costs, namely: Aqua HDPE plastic of IDR 9,187,465.00 with a safety stock of 101 KG. Dark Blue LDPE plastic of IDR 6,770,828.50 with a Safety Stock of 75 KG. Dark Blue HDPE plastic of IDR 14,079,792.00 with a Safety Stock of 151 KG. Light Blue HDPE Plastic of Rp.16,365,627.50 with Safety Stock of 172 KG. White LDPE Plastic of 36,853,183.50 with Safety Stock of 375 KG. and Light Blue HDPE Plastic of Rp.26,275,091.00 with Safety Stock of 271 KG.
