Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah psychological empowerment dan family supportive supervisor behavior memiliki hubungan dengan work life balance pada pekerja. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah para karyawan yang berlokasi di Kota Surabaya. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 271 orang dan ditentukan oleh tabel Issac dan Michael dengan tingkat kesalahan 10%. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Scale of Psychological Empowerment 12 item, Scale of Family Supportive Supervisor Behavior 14 item, dan Scale of Work Life Balance 17 item. Analisis yang dilakukan adalah regresi linier berganda, uji-t, rerata variabel, dan sumbangan efektif. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa family supportive supervisor behavior berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap work life balance (F = 33,892; r = 0,481; R Square = 0,322; P < 0,000). Family supportive supervisor behavior dan work life balance dapat menjadi strategi bagi perusahaan untuk dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan agar terciptanya work life balance.
