Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara emotion regulation dengan cyber aggression pada remaja. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitain ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 213 responden dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan berusia antara 15-17 tahun. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis uji korelasi spearman’s rho dengan bantuan SPSS versi 16.0 for windows. Hasil analisis data menggunakan teknik spearman’s rho menunjukkan nilai signifikasi untuk variabel Emotion Regulation dengan Cyber Aggression yaitu diperoleh nilai koefisien sebesar -0,256 dengan tingkat signifikasi p = 0,000 (p < 0,01). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang sangat signifikan antara Emotion Regulation dengan Cyber Aggression. Artinya, semakin tinggi tingkat Emotion Regulation seseorang, semakin rendah kecenderungannya untuk terlibat dalam perilaku Cyber Aggression.
