Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi selain berdampak positif seperti menyediakan kemudahan dalam mencari informasi bagi mahasiswa, memperluas pengetahuan, meningkatkan wawasan, merangsang kreativitas dan inovasi pembelajaran serta memungkinkan akses pendidikan yang lebih luas Juga berdampak negatif seperti muncul berbagai penyalahgunaan teknologi internet, seperti penggunaan berlebihan untuk bermain game, berkurangnya fokus saat belajar yang dapat mengakibatkan penurunan kinerja akademik. Salah satu dampak negatif yang cukup banyak terjadi adalah Problematic internet use yang dapat terjadi pada siapa saja ketika durasi atau aktivitas yang digunakan oleh individu dalam mengakses internet begitu tinggi sehingga membuat individu mengabaikan aspek lain dalam kehidupannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara Loneliness dan Relational mobility dengan Problematic internet use pada mahasiswa. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 250 mahasiswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan goggle form. Adapun alat ukur dalam penelitian ini problematic internet use, loneliness, relational mobility. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan loneliness dan relational mobility berkorelasi dengan problematic internet use. Terdapat hubungan positif antara loneliness dengan problematic internet use. Semakin tinggi loneliness maka semakin tinggi problematic internet usenya. Terdapat hubungan negatif antara relational mobility dan problematic internet use. Semakin tinggi relational mobility maka semakin rendah problematic internet use. Kata kunci: Loneliness, Problematic internet use, Relational mobility, Mahasiswa.
