Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and perceived organizational support with work engagement among Generation Z employees. Generation Z refers to individuals born between 1995 and 2010. The research method used is quantitative correlational with a sample of 350 Generation Z employees. Data collection instruments included three scales: the job satisfaction scale, the perceived organizational support scale, and the work engagement scale, all measured using a Likert scale. Data analysis was performed using validity tests, reliability tests, and multiple regression analysis. The analysis results indicate that the correlation value between Job Satisfaction and Work Engagement is t -1.466 with a significance of 0.143 (p>0.05). This means there is no significant relationship between Job Satisfaction and Work Engagement. Furthermore, the correlation value between Perceived Organizational Support and Work Engagement is t -0.462 with a significance of 0.645 (p>0.05). This also indicates no significant relationship between Perceived Organizational Support and Work Engagement. Additionally, the correlation score obtained is R = 0.083 with a significance of 0.302 (p>0.01). This signifies that there is no relationship between Job Satisfaction and Perceived Organizational Support with Work Engagement. In other words, the level of Job Satisfaction and Perceived Organizational Support does not affect the level of Work Engagement among Generation Z employees. The effective contribution in this study is 0.007, indicating that Job Satisfaction and Perceived Organizational Support have a 0.7% influence on Work Engagement.
