Abstract
Sales are an important aspect of business and the level of success has an impact on company profits. Many factors can influence sales, so companies need to carry out data analysis to survive the competition. PT XYZ operates in the medical equipment industry and uses a business-to-business concept so that in the sales process there are several factors that can be negotiated, such as price, shipping costs, processing time and the number of products purchased. For this reason, the aim of the research carried out is to determine the implementation of Data Mining classification with the C4.5 algorithm which can see patterns in the negotiation process carried out as well as analyze and evaluate the rules made from decision trees. The data from this research was obtained from sales in 2021 - 2022 with a total of 1604 data with a distribution of 75% training data and 25% test data. The results of research using the Decision Tree C4.5 classification will produce 100 negotiation process rules. Apart from that, it is known that the main factor that influences the negotiation process is price. The model evaluation carried out obtained a score accuracy of 74%.
