Abstract

Efficient and accurate invoice management is one of the important aspects in the operations of an expedition company. CV Wong Karya Bersaudara, as one of the expedition companies, faces challenges in managing and predicting the number of shipments effectively. This research aims to develop a web-based invoice management system that is integrated with the prediction method of the number of shipments using Single Exponential Smoothing. This system is designed to simplify the invoice management process and provide predictions of the number of shipments for the next 1 month with a low error rate. Thus, this system is expected to be used as a tool in operational decision-making. The data used in this study comes from shipment data for the period 2021 - 2024 at CV Wong Karya Bersaudara. The Single Exponential Smoothing method is applied to predict the number of shipments in the future based on historical data. The test results show that the developed system can manage invoices efficiently and provide predictions of the number of shipments that have an accuracy rate of MAPE <10%.
