Abstract

Seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi salah satunya dibidang teknologi informasi yaitu sistem informasi yang pada era digital seperti ini banyak dimanfaatkan oleh berbagai kalangan orang untuk kepentingan pribadi dalam mengolah informasi. Pada proses bisnis yang saat ini merupakan era digital, Masih banyak orang khususnya pengusaha salah satunya usaha ikan cupang yang baru merintis masih bingung dalam memasarkan usaha ikan cupangnya dikarenakan masih awam dalam berbisnis ikan cupang, padahal pemasaran itu sendiri merupakan kunci suksesnya dalam sebuah usaha atau bisnis. Untuk menghadapi permasalahan tersebut diperlukannya pemasaran yang berkembang dalam era digital seperti ini yaitu sebuah sistem informasi penjualan yang nantinya berupa e-commerce berbasis web dan akan digunakan sebagai media pemasaran bagi pengusaha ikan cupang pemula atau baru merintis. E-Commerce ini nanti dalam perancangannya menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL serta nantinya terdapat fitur pencarian yang berguna untuk mencari produk berdasarkan kebutuhan pengguna. Fitur pencarian ini nanti menggunkan metode weighted product (WP) sehingga hasil yang didapat dari fitur pencarian sesuai dengan apa yang dibutuhkan pengguna. Tujuan dari dibuatkannya sistem informasi penjualan ikan cupang ini yaitu mempermudah bagi pengusaha ikan cupang dalam memasarkan bisnisnya serta bagi pembeli dimudahkan dalam transaksinya dikarenakan tidak perlu repot datang ke tempat penjual ikan cupang atau toko ikan cupang, juga dengan adanya fitur pencarian diharapkan memudahkan pengunjung atau pembeli dalam pencarian produk yang sesuai kebutuhan di sistem informasi penjualan ikan cupang ini.
