Abstract
This research develops an AI-based letter archiving management information system for the GPI Papua Klasis Mimika Institute, Central Papua, using the Naïve Bayes algorithm for the classification of incoming and outgoing letters. The purpose of this system is to improve efficiency and accuracy in the management of letter archives and facilitate the process of searching and monitoring documents. The dataset used consists of a total of 50 data, where 30 data are identified as spam and 20 as non-spam. Test results using the Confusion Matrix method show that the system achieved an accuracy rate of 78%, with a precision of 88% for the spam category, a recall of 73.3% for the spam category, and an F1 Score of 79.9%. The implementation of this system shows that the use of AI technology in archiving can optimize document management and provide practical solutions for religious institutions in managing their correspondence, and is expected to be applied more widely to improve the efficiency of archive management in various church institutions.
