Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of the Independent Farmer Program through the Independent Farmer Card (KPM) Plus in Bojonegoro Regency. This research was conducted at the Food Security and Agriculture Service of Bojonegoro Regency. This research was carried out by means of observation, direct interviews with relevant sources. The results of the research are that the Independent Farmer Program is one of the Bojonegoro Regency Government's efforts to provide welfare for farmers, but not all farmers can access this program, because one of the main requirements for getting benefits from this program is having less than 2 hectares of land, being an independent farmer card holder and being a member in farmer groups. The Independent Farmer Program contains capital assistance with a maximum value of 10 million rupiah, guaranteed purchase of agricultural products, crop failure insurance, training and access to scholarships for farming families. Before benefiting from this program, farmer groups must first submit a proposal for assistance according to what is needed. The Mandiri Program through the Mandiri Plus Farmer Card in Bojonegoro Regency has been running well but the assistance provided to farmer groups is still not optimal according to what they applied for and there is also training in farmer groups, one of which is training in making liquid fertilizer, but farmer groups are lacking. participate in the training. There are still many farmers who do not want to register for insurance coverage for failure to harvest their crops, this is because the farmers' human resources are still low and they lack understanding of this program and the lack of field extension officers, resulting in minimal outreach to farmers.
