Abstract

In this day and age, many people are aware of the importance of exercise and have made it a lifestyle in their daily lives. This has an impact on the development of the sports industry. With the growing development of the industry in the sports sector, especially in the world of fitness (gym), especially in the whey protein industry. People who actively exercise, especially gym members, really need whey protein as additional intake to meet their daily protein nutritional needs. This makes the whey protein industry a market opportunity for whey protein producers and companies, especially Evolene. This research aims to determine the influence of Product Quality (X1) and Brand Trust (X2( on Purchasing Decisions (Y) of Evolene Whey Protein Products. This type of research is a quantitative type of research with a population of all male consumers who use evolene whey protein at gyms in Gresik and The sample was 97 samples filled in by consumers who used evolene whey protein at Surya Gym Members from distributing statements via Google Form. Instrument testing in this research used validity tests and reliability tests. This research used classic assumption tests, namely linearity tests, normality tests and tests Multicollinearity. Analysis in this research uses the t test, F test and coefficient of determination test (R2) with data analysis techniques, namely multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis on product quality and brand trust variables, the results of this research are significant is to show that partially and simultaneously the variables Product Quality and Brand Trust have a positive and significant influence on the Purchase Decision of Whey Protein Evolene Products for Gym Members in Gresik
