Abstract

Didalam industri yang bergerak dibidang pulp/paper terdapat proses dimana terjadi pencampuran bahan-bahan secara kontinyu (terus-menerus), pada proses tersebut diperlukan untuk meminimalisir nilai overshoot, risetime, dan steady state eror pada reaksi kurva kecepatan flow. Pada kasus tersebut perlunya sistem PID kontroler untuk mengatur reaksi kurva agar tetap stabil. PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) merupakan kontroler untuk menentukan presisi suatu sistem instrumentasi dengan karakteristik adanya umpan balik pada sistem tersebut. Didalam suatu sistem kontrol mengenal adanya beberapa macam aksi kontrol, diantaranya yaitu aksi kontrol proporsional, aksi kontrol integral dan aksi kontrol derivative. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mencoba untuk membuat sistem pengaturan kecepatan motor pompa flow berbasis PID. PID ini akan di-tuning dengan metode Trial and Eror yang menggunakan software Simulink MatLab R2024a dari Mathwork, Inc. Kemudian hasil tuning PID dari MatLab akan diimplementasikan di software Simatic PCS 7 sebagai acuan untuk mencari nilai variabel formula terbaik PID pada pengaturan kecepatan motor pompa. Hasil menunjukan bahwa variabel kontrol PID terbaik yang diperoleh dari beberapa pengujian pada sistem pengaturan kecepatan motor pompa flow adalah Kp=6, Ti=45, Td=8. Adapun variabel penunjang lainnya Period=3, Precision=5, Supree limit=10, weight=0,1. Hasil nilai Steady State Eror (Es) terbaik yang diperoleh adalah 10 l/min.
