Abstract
This study aims to determine whether the variables of Promotion, Product Completeness affect online purchasing decisions at Shopee for students of the university of 17 August 1945 Surabaya. The population in this study were all active students of the afternoon class of the University of August 17, 1945 Surabaya who used the Shopee application with a sample size of 150 people. The data analysis technique used is the instrument test method, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. This test was carried out using the help of SPSS 22 Statistical Software. The results showed that the significance value of the independent variable Product Completeness in the t test was 0.000 or <0.05. This shows that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So that the independent variable Product Completeness (X1) has a partially significant effect on Purchasing Decisions (Y). The independent variable Promotion in the t test is 0.000 or <0.05. This shows that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So that the independent variable Promotion (X2) has a partially significant effect on Purchasing Decisions (Y). The value of R2 = 0.811 which means that 81.1% of the Purchasing Decision (Y) can be explained by the variables Product Completeness (X1) and Promotion (X2). While the remaining 18.9% is influenced by other variables outside the model studied.
